Over the last 4 years James Adovasio has overseen a re excavation at Vero Beach. [
www.oviasc.org] Apparently he concludes that there was human activity 13,000 to 14,000 years ago.
There is a deeper soil layer that dates to about 19,000 years old where they hope to find some evidence of human activity.
Talked to Mike Waters a few days ago and he said that findings have been disappointing (so far).
