Some of those I had already. That first link on Robert de Holland had info I hadn't seen, thank you! Honestly, there is so much information in these databases when you get back this far it's amazing. So, what happened when someone owned a moiety of a manor? Did the person with the largest share live in the manor and send the other a percentage of the income or profits? Of course, they likely had a share in many manors, in which case did they lived in the manor that gave them the most prestige? Even though they owned parts of many manors, the Southworths always lived at Samlesbury with the heir usually living in the lower hall there until they inherited the manor, and other higher ranking family members living at Southworth Hall.

This is such a fascinating period.
