he was also very greedy. When I was collecting paperbacks I heard many stories from booksellers on how he insisted that all remainders were returned to him which he then signed and sold for an inflated price. I also have most of his Ace Doubles ...and there were these from early in his career that I think he tried to forget about. Writing as Paul Merchant.





these unfortunately were always a bit out of my price range ...and then you had to find a copy first ... not so easy

EDIT: That's why you will find many of his books on eBay and elsewhere are signed.
