Wings? There's another eerie silent film about WWI that was pretty accurate.
The General? It's a comedy, but the way the war is staged around it looks really good.
Elizabeth and Essex? Bette Davis plucked her hair back into the correct hairline. It's the only history film I can think of with accurate hairstyles on the principals. The costumes were based on Elizabeth's effigy, which was redressed in the 18th c and therefore not accurate.

A lot of times the films called 'historically accurate' are those with the right kind of saddles and costumes without obvious zippers.

Tombstone gets it more or less right, skimming over the nasty political factions in the city that made it such a powder keg. Ike Clanton was a dandy--and a buddy of Earp when the money was right. Fun Fact: The Clantons lived in my home town. I went to school with one. They ride in all the local parades. My friend lived in Colton, where the Earps settled, some 20 miles away. The nephew of Fly the photographer was our vet. For years he drove a 5 mule hitch in the Rose Parade. History is everywhere, not just buried in museums.
