So that means the Huey folks don't know what they are talking about, that's no red herring, it's a fact.

No, that's a fact and facts that are true are not ad hominens just because a "mildy interested" layperson says so.

That doesn't mean they are the same age.

Another bit of sarcasm? The Cerutti team doesn't think so and neither does:
"Early occupations. Since the
discovery and definition of Clovis,
researchers have searched for evidence
of an even older occupation of
the Americas, but most sites dating
before Clovis investigated between
1960 and 1995 [e.g., Calico (California),
Tule Springs (Nevada), Pendejo
Cave (New Mexico), Pedra
Furada (Brazil), Pikimachay Cave
(Peru), and Tlapacoya (Mexico)] have
not held up to scientific scrutiny
(2, 39)."

I did, are you imagining Virginia wasn't a grad student at the time? So answer the questions. Grad students who can't write a site report know and archaeologists who can don't know what students know?

Ah yes the old
> apppeal to authority fallacy.

Peers aren't students or we wouldn't need teachers advising them. Every student would be a self-appointed expert on everything if that were the case. So we don't need PhDs, only bloggers with a lot of imagination and anomalous evidence?
Where are all those invisible hominin bones, and teeth from Cerutti, Heuy, and Calico hiding? Duck, dodge, weave, cite 1980s after new digging has been done...anything but produce a valid skeleton.

We know that you are also reading Nature abstracts now too:
"Nothing about femur heads or teeth"

Where's the Levallios technology hiding in the Americas that non-flintknappers can't find? Don't know what it looks like? Should be easy to find if you can flintknap and know what to look for. Dr. Eren hasn't mentioned finding any in the Americas.

Sure, when I see the few photos you sent to the museum (as requested), I'll be more than happy to link to the article.

Also, why would I need a reference when:
"Yeah I was 'mildly interested' years ago but all that's changed." Then if that's the case, Why not do a word search in the thousands of journals behind pay walls? How many times do I have to reference that paper, just for you to snip it out?

Right on. That's why a pre-Clovis archaeologist with a PhD dug at Huey in 2003 because the student's arguments were so convincing?
