According to that source, the statue of Sachmis (or Sekhmet) was one of three statues recorded "with RCGE 5450" in an unpublished register in the Turin Museum concerning a collection that was attributed to Donati - [en.wikipedia.org] (see also briefly here - [www.jstor.org]).

If the register was drawn up some time in the late 18th century, then, at a guess, either Donati himself or someone at the Museum must have been able to recognise and name that deity.
