Mystery of the Pyramids - Ian Onvlee

Quote

... In the past 40 years I have ... developed a totally different dating scheme for the dynasties of Egypt, which I call the Improved High Chronology. The current conventional chronology of the Early and Old Kingdoms is namely based on nothing but pure speculation. The Improved High Chronology conforms to the calibrated carbon chronology of scientific archaeology, which has recently set the pace in reassessing the history and archaeology of the Ancient Near East and beyond. It is backed up by a completely new reconstruction of the Royal Annals, consisting of the Palermo Stone and its associated fragments. The Annals are our oldest and only reliable source forthe first five dynasties, as opposed to the currently used Turin Canon, which is heavily flawed concerning the Early and Old Kingdoms.

My arguments for the Improved High Chronology (IHC) will not be worked out in great detail here. That will have to be the subject of another book I am still working on, as it is quite comprehensive.Basically my dating scheme means that the First Dynasty starts in exactly 3605 BC ...
