""A team of researchers, including Dr. Tadahiro Kin of Japan’s Kyushu University, are soon expected to arrive at Giza to continue the study of Khufu’s “Big Void”. For approximately a month, utilizing a ”newly developed muon detector”, the subatomic particles will be recorded from a position within the pyramid’s ‘Queen’s Chamber’, as they pass through the structure’s stonework. In addition, observations from drone surveys will be used to accentuate the data.

As reported in the November 2017 issue of the journal Nature, ”…an international research group including Nagoya University and the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization announced that they found a previously unknown cavity measuring more than 30 meters long at the pyramid's center…”.

At the behest of the Egyptian government, Dr. Sakuji Yoshimura has been charged with verifying the existence of the Void; thought to be a ‘hollow’ above the ‘Grand Gallery’. This new survey is expected to be completed by the end of the summer of 2020, with anticipated publication of the results in the fall.""
