Thank you for starting a new thread.

The relevant inscription in the Great Pyramid is more probably a reference to the 13th cattle count (as noted in Tallet, MIFAO 136, 2017: 3), rather than the 17th.

On Khufu's regnal years, see this - [www.hallofmaat.com] - although I would strongly dispute the 17th cattle count cited by Hawass and Petrie; the reasons are explained more fully here: [www.hallofmaat.com].

(There's a couple of references to Merer here - [openaccess.leidenuniv.nl]; and of course more material and discussion of his journal now widely available).

The historical Khufu, son of Sneferu, had no known connection with the traditional Biblical figure of Jacob, son of Isaac, whose story was described in documentary materials probably dating to the early 1st millennium. (I know of no connection at all between Sneferu and Isaac).
