I did not come up the star pyramid correlation theory. All that I am saying is that Bauval's theory is based on a prominent group of stars that is easy to spot. I does not relate to a line up of close stars to earth that do not create an easy patter in the sky anyway.

I have looked at this possibility in the past. I made a document in the form of notes that from what I see dates to 2007. I have posted part of these findings on message boards including this one. But these correlations although interesting do not make up a step by step how-to blueprint of the pyramids.

The G1 G3 apex visibility notion seems to lean toward a mountain climbing mentality design and not so much to a stargazer mentality design. This means that it greatly reinforces my mountain pyramid theory.

To put it simply the solution is:

fit A + fit B + corroborating supplementary alignments + why

I have completed a book in English that deals with the first part of this(an introduction to the Greek mountain correlation). It is based on my book in Greek "Thebe Andromedia Hestia".

Yes, they entombed people in the ground. All over the world ancient cultures built tombs. But only a small number of them built pyramids. The evolution tomb => mastaba => pyramid needs to investigated further. One problem with this is that it was not gradual. No small pyramids preceding giant ones. Another problem is that there were early pyramids that Egyptologist agree were not erected as tombs. I am referring to the provincial pyramids of the III dynasty.
