My apologees as I really had no intention of making this about the numbers but it is such an incredible building project that I wanted to see if they had a plan. Floor plan I wondered if any one had ever measured it and since I kinda knew the answer and so taking what I had available the 5000 sq meters I determined it was in all likelihood 100 x 50 meters however The Ancient Builders did not use meters so I converted to cubits and some very interesting things showed up. The 100 meters turned out to most likely be 6/Pi x 100 cubits or 190.986 cu

Thanks Hermione. But on The Memphis Project Website are some exceptional examples of what I mean with about 4 inches"falling off" and a smooth column left behind. Can anyone explain this

I have mentioned this before but never got a satisfactory answer. In all outdoor"carvings" the only flaking ever seen is just a very thin layer and underneath is perfectly smooth. It almost appears that a coating was put on the finished column and then perhaps while it was still workable the designs were put on. Two different people were responsible for the building of The Pyramid of Meidum . The reason I can say this is that two different cubits were used in the construction . The final pyramid of 175 x 275 cubits used a cubit of 20.67448 while the person who built the original"step" pyramid used the same cubit used at Giza, 20.62 inches . Proof to follow on my forum soon
